Easthampton, Mass. Passes Generational Tobacco Ban

This week, the Easthampton, Mass., Board of Health approved a generational tobacco ban that will ban anyone born after 2005 from buying tobacco and nicotine products, in hopes it will reduce the city’s smoking rates. Easthampton’s ban goes into effect on Jan. 1, 2027, and when it does, the city will join Amherst, Brookline, Hopkinton, Newton, Northampton and Belchertown as cities in Massachusetts to have passed a generational tobacco ban.

Holt’s Opens New Location in Northeast Philadelphia
