Sans Pareil Blue Belicoso Lands at Club Humidor

In 2020, a small batch of Sans Pareil Blue Belicosos was rolled, a vitola that is not part of the line’s regular line-up. Since then, they have sat aging, waiting to be released.

That will happen on Sunday, Sept. 27, at Club Humidor in San Antonio. Sans Pareil has made the vintage cigars an exclusive for the retailer. It uses the same blend as the regular production version, a Dominican puro capped with a criollo 98 wrapper.

Just 100 boxes are available this year. David Swinburne, ceo and co-founder of Sans Pareil, told halfwheel that Club Humidor could receive more in the future.

“Club Humidor has always been about sharing exceptional cigars and the stories behind them,” said Keith Rumbo, owner of Club Humidor, in a press release. “What makes this collaboration special is the care and patience it represents. A cigar rolled in 2020 carries years of anticipation into the moment it is finally enjoyed. We are proud to put the Club Humidor name on this release and share it with the community that makes our three San Antonio locations so special.”

A launch event is being held at Club Humidor’s San Pedro store on Sept. 27 from 6-9 p.m.
