NUb Mexico Debuts at InterTabac 2026, Coming to U.S. in October

A new version of Oliva Cigar Co.’s NUb line is debuting in Germany this week ahead of its arrival in the U.S. early next month.

The NUb México uses a Mexican-grown wrapper, while the binder and filler are both Nicaraguan, which the company reportedly describes as being medium in body and slightly spicy. It is being released in two sizes, named for their dimensions: the 460 and the 464T, the latter of which is a torpedo. Both cigars will retail for approximately $11 and come in 24-count boxes.

Of note, the 460 will be available to all markets, while the 464T is slated to be exclusive to U.S. retailers.

The NUb México joins the NUb Habano, NUb Maduro, NUb Cameroon, and NUb Connecticut as the brand’s core lines. There is also the NUb Cain Habano, NUb Cain Maduro, and NUb Cain F, along with a handful of other releases over the nearly 20 years since the concept debuted in 2008.

For instance, in 2012, the company released the STUDIO TOBAC World Tour Sampler 2012, which contains the NUb USA, which used U.S.-grown filler. That year, there was also the event-only Cain Daytona NUb 460. In 2014, the company launched NUb Café, three lines with the flavor of coffee drinks.

NUb México will be on display at the InterTabac 2027 trade fair being held in Dortmund, Germany, from Sept. 15-17.

Oliva Cigar Co. announced the NUb México via Cigar Aficionado. An email sent to a company spokesperson to confirm the accuracy of that article and to request images and additional information has not yet been returned.

Update — The original version of this post incorrectly stated the cigar was debuting in 2027. The year has gone by fast, but not that fast.
