On Monday, June 15, Villiger Cigars North America will ship a new blend under the company’s Villiger 1888 brand.
The Villiger 1888 San Andres uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over an Ecuadorian habano binder and fillers from Nicaragua. The cigars are made at the Villiger Cigars de Nicaragua factory in Estelí.
It is offered in three vitolas:
- Villiger 1888 San Andres Robusto (5 x 50) — $12 (Box of 20, $240)
- Villiger 1888 San Andres Toro (6 x 50) — $12.50 (Box of 20, $250)
- Villiger 1888 San Andres Churchill (7 x 47) — $13 (Box of 20, $260)
The company describes the blend as medium-full, saying it offers flavors of “espresso and black pepper, finishing with an elegant nuttiness.”
