The third and perhaps final release of Warped Cigars’ Maestro del Tiempo 6102R has, per Cigar Aficionado, gone on sale.
Introduced in 2016, the Maestro del Tiempo 6102R 2026 is a 5 1/4 x 48 Nicaraguan puro that is a tweaked version of Warped’s Maestro del Tiempo line. Both cigars include medio tiempo tobacco from Estelí in the filler.
Medio tiempo is the highest priming on a tobacco blend, above the ligero primings, that is only found on a fraction of plants. The cigars are made at the AGANORSA factory in Nicaragua.
Each cigar has an MSRP of $15, and a total of 40,000 cigars are being released. The cigars come packaged in 100-count cabinets.
The Maestro del Tiempo 6102R is a limited edition release. It debuted in 2016 with just 150 boxes made and returned again in 2020. Compared to the 2020 release, the MSRP has increased from $12.50.
An email sent from DROP Cigar Club, also owned by Warped founder Kyle Gellis, hinted that it would be the last release for the 6012R
“The legend is back! Maestro del Tiempo 6102R is here and for the last time. This Nicaraguan Puro features a hefty dose of Medio Tiempo in it’s (sic) filler and has built it’s (sic) reputation on balance and complexity,” said the email.
Gellis did not reply to an email confirming that the cigar has begun shipping.
