Villiger Cigars North America has begun informing retailers about a new release, the Villiger 1888 San Andres. As the name suggests, this is a Mexican-wrapped offering from the Villiger 1888 line.

Villiger 1888 San Andres comes out of the Villiger de Nicaragua factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. In addition to the San Andres wrapper, the 1888 San Andres uses an Ecuadorian Habano binder and all Nicaraguan fillers. It comes in three sizes: Robusto (5 x 50, SRP $12.00), Toro (6 x 50, SRP $12.50), and Churchill (7 x 47, SRP $13.00). Each of the three sizes comes in 20-count boxes.

The Villiger 1888 line pays homage to the year Villiger Cigars was formed (1888). In addition to the 1888 San Andres, there are the 1888 (Dominican) and 1888 Nicaragua lines.
