Tatuaje has announced the return of its Boris Karloff cigar for 2026. This time, the cigar comes in a new size: 6 1/4 x 47.

Boris Karloff was a renowned actor famous for his portrayal of Frankenstein’s monster. This character inspired the first release of the Tatuaje Monsters series, called The Frank.

The Boris Karloff traces its origins to a cigar known as the Boris, the original tribute cigar to the actor. At the time, it was a spinoff of the Tatuaje Monsters series and first appeared in 2010. It was positioned as the first in another limited-edition series known as The Actors Series. That series never materialized. However, Boris would have had several other iterations:

The blend features an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over all Nicaraguan tobaccos. A total of 2,000 20-count boxes are available. The My Father Cigars factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, produces it. Pricing is set at an SRP of $15.00.

Tatuaje says the Boris Karloff begins shipping now, just in time for Boris Karloff’s actual birthday, November 23rd.
