Nearly 18 months after it was announced, the Gold & Bullet is finally shipping to stores.
The OpusX Gold & Bullet is the sophomore cigar release for the Fuente The OpusX Society, a collaboration between Arturo Fuente and Manny Iriarte Enterprises. The cigar is a 6 3/4 x 50 parejo, described as a different blend from the OpusX La Edición de la Sociedad, the first release from The OpusX Society. Neither blend has been disclosed.
Arturo Fuente produces the cigars.
Also not disclosed is the price. Manny Iriarte Enterprises does not list MSRPs for its cigars, though retailers have listed preorders for between $125-150 per cigar. A total of 2,500 boxes of 12 cigars will be produced each year. When the cigar was first announced, it was said to be limited to just 1,500 boxes.
Rëyns International, the U.S. distributor for Elie Bleu, is distributing a pair of Gold & Bullet-themed Elie Bleu accessories. Each is offered in two different colors:
- Elie Bleu C-5 Cutter Gold & Bullet — $380
- Elie Bleu J-12 Lighter Gold & Bullet — $400
