Caldwell The Queen is Dead

Laudisi Enterprises has announced a new regular production Caldwell line known as The Queen is Dead. Much like Caldwell’s Long Live the Queen, a follow-up to Long Live the Queen, The Queen is Dead follows up The King is Dead. The Queen is Dead also represents the first new core line built from scratch since Laudisi first acquired Caldwell in 2024.

Caldwell founder Robert Caldwell and William Ventura developed The Queen is Dead, with the cigars rolled at Tabacalera William Ventura. The Queen is Dead features a Habano Dos Mil (H2000) wrapper, a Sumatra binder, and a filler blend of Dominican Corojo, Habano, and Criollo. This line launches in five sizes.

“This is the stick I have been most excited for since we dropped the original Long Live the Queen a few years back. QID is a very well-balanced, medium-bodied cigar. I find it to be in almost perfect harmony. It has just the right amount of everything that I like, and all of it plays together very well. I’ve been playing with this blend for a while. We made it together with William Ventura — he is my go-to for my favorite blends. This beauty has a H2000 wrapper over a Sumatran binder and Dominican entrails. If you like LLTQ and Anastasia, then The Queen is Dead will fit right into your wheelhouse,” said Robert Caldwell in a press release.

Laudisi begins retailer pre-orders on October 19, but the exact ship date is TBD.
