Crowned Heads Belgian Blue LE 2026

Crowned Heads has announced the Belgian Blue LE 2026. This is the third consecutive annual release of the limited-edition Belgian Blue. Each of the past three years has featured a different size, with the 2026 edition in a 5 1/4 x 54 box-pressed Robusto format.

The Crowned Heads Belgian Blue takes its name from a breed of Belgian cattle. These cattle are known not only for their strength, but for their hyper-sculpted, muscular physique, known as ‘double-muscling.’ The blend is 75% ligero with a textured base, meaning the selected base leaves are thicker and more textured. Crowned Heads says this results in more strength without sacrificing excellent combustion.

The Belgian Blue LE 2026 blend has the same profile as the previous years. This includes a dark Mexican San Andres wrapper, an Ecuadorian binder, and a blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers. Eladio Pichardo’s D’Hatuey factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, produced it. The company produced a total of 2,500 12-count boxes. The price is $12.50 per cigar.

“Belgian Blue was never about chasing strength for strength’s sake,” commented Crowned Heads President, Jon Huber. “The cigar was blended for flavor and intensity first, and the power was a by-product. The annual demand over the last couple of years has been relentless, and we are proud and excited to bring it back once again.”
