Casa Carrillo is adding a robusto size to its Perez-Carrillo Pledge Purple line, and it’s expected to begin shipping to stores next week. It’s a 5 1/4 x 52 box-pressed vitola, and uses the same blend as the other sizes in the line, meaning a Connecticut-grown, havana-seed wrapper from Dunn & Foster that comes from the same crop used for the cigars in the original Pledge line’s debut in 2020.
