Casa Carrillo has informed retailers that it is shipping the latest installment of the Perez-Carrillo series, Ascend. Ascend becomes the fifth regular production line in the Perez-Carrillo series.
This line pays homage to cigar smoking as a journey or a climb that progresses. Each of the vitolas represents this: Saddle (Robusto), Ridge (Toro), and Peak (Gordo). According to Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr, the Ascend utilizes an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and fillers. The blend includes Criollo 98 and Corojo 2012 seeds.
