This month, Casa Carrillo will begin shipping the Perez-Carrillo Pledge of Allegiance 2026 Toro. It’s the first of two sizes being released in the 2026 installment of the Casa Carrillo Pledge of Allegiance series for the America 250 celebrations. Casa Carrillo first released Pledge of Allegiance as an annual limited-edition offering beginning in 2023. The 2026 installment marks the fourth release of the series.
The Pledge of Allegiance is part of Casa Carrillo’s Perez-Carrillo series, the most premium tier in the Casa Carrillo portfolio. EPC Chief Operating Officer Selim Hanono came up with the name by mashing up the names of the Pledge and Allegiance lines. However, the blend is entirely different than either line, emphasizing the use of U.S.-grown American tobacco.
The Toro size (measuring 6 x 54) has been a staple each year since Pledge of Allegiance made its debut in 2023. The 2026 Pledge of Allegiance Toro features a dark Connecticut Habano wrapper, an Ecuadorian Connecticut binder, and a complex blend of Nicaraguan fillers sourced from Condega, Jalapa, and Estelí. The Toro is packaged in ten-count boxes, priced at an SRP of $22.00 with a total production of 1,776 boxes.
Back at the 2026 Premium Cigar Association Trade Show, Casa Carrillo showcased another size of the Pledge of Allegiance 2026 release, the Rockets. Rockets is a 6 3/8 x 58 figurado. The 2025 release had a Rockets size. Casa Carrillo is bringing back the Rockets for 2026 with a special 250-box release. The company isn’t disclosing details at this time, but based on what was shown at PCA, it includes a light and a dark wrapped release in the same package. Details of the Rockets’ release will be announced at a later date.
