Aladino 250th Shipping Tomorrow

Share

Tomorrow, June 16, JRE Tobacco Co. will ship the cigar the company has made for the 250th anniversary of the founding of America.

The Aladino 250th is a 6 x 52 toro that is made entirely of tobacco grown by the company, though JRE is declining to say what tobaccos are used. The Eiroa family, which owns JRE Tobacco Co., is a prominent grower in Honduras.

Each cigar has an MSRP of $15 and production is limited to 1,000 boxes of 13 cigars. The number was chosen to honor the 13 original colonies.

When the company announced the cigar in early March, it called it the Aladino Declaration, though it has since changed the name due to a trademark concern. You can see the original Declaration name used in the bands, though it has since been replaced by 250th.
