Perdomo is adding a sampler to its Legacy line, and it comes with three sizes you won’t find anywhere else.
The Perdomo Legacy Gran Collection is an 11-count box priced at $150 MSRP. According to Nicholas Perdomo III, Perdomo’s national director of sales, it includes three new vitolas that are exclusive to the sampler: a 4 1/2 x 54 Short Robusto, a 5 x 54 Belicoso Fino and a 6 x 48 Gran Corona. Each comes two to a box.
Two familiar Legacy sizes fill out the set, the Robusto (5 x 54) and the 6 x 60 Gran Belicoso, also two of each. The 11th cigar sits in the middle of the box: the Perdomo Legacy Father & Son, a 6 x 48/60/52 Gran Figurado that Perdomo introduced earlier this year using tobacco aged 10 to 15 years from the 2011 through 2016 harvests.
The Gran Collection is offered in all three Legacy wrappers: Connecticut, Nicaraguan Shade Grown and Nicaraguan Maduro. The Shade Grown wrapper is a Cameroon and Habano hybrid grown at Perdomo’s Finca Natalie in Estelí, and that same hybrid leaf serves as the binder on the Connecticut and Maduro versions. The Legacy tobacco is certified as 10-year aged.
The Legacy Shade Grown was named Cigar Dojo’s 2025 Cigar of the Year.
Perdomo has not announced a ship date for the Gran Collection.
