CigarKings Makes Oktoberfest Zigarre

Those attending this year’s Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany will have the chance to buy an official Oktoberfest cigar.

The Oktoberfest Zigarre is a 5 x 50 robusto that comes via CigarKings, a Munich-based cigar company that has its cigars made in Nicaragua. Blend-wise, it uses an Ecuadorian wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers.

Philipp Kugler, ceo of CigarKings, says this is the first time that there’s an official Oktoberfest cigar, made with the permission of the city of Munich. Because of its official status, the cigar is able to use the official Oktoberfest logo.

Munich’s Oktoberfest runs from Sept. 19-Oct. 4. The cigar is available at stands around the event.
