Karen Berger Cigars celebrated a major recognition at InterTabac 2026, with Ixtelli receiving an award for Best Boutique Cigar from Nicaragua.

Karen Berger Cigars celebrated a major recognition at InterTabac 2026, with Ixtelli receiving an award for Best Boutique Cigar from Nicaragua.

Karen Berger and her team described the award as an important milestone for Ixtelli, a project that has been in development for around two years. The Nicaraguan puro features a Viso Criollo wrapper and is presented as an elegant, floral cigar with notes of hibiscus and green tea.

The team said the award reflects the work behind the project and thanked cigar enthusiasts for their continued support.

“This win is for you. This award is for you guys, too,” Berger said.
