Tomorrow, SAG Imports—the U.S. distributor for Joya de Nicaragua—will begin shipping five new cigars to American retailers.
One is entirely new: the Joya Red White & Blue. It’s a 6 x 52 toro that uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper over binders and fillers from Estelí and Jalapa, Nicaragua. The cigar is part of the company’s JOYA Series, which includes the regular production JOYA Black and JOYA Red lines, though this is a limited edition cigar that has been created to mark the 250th anniversary of the founding of America.
Each cigar has an MSRP of $13.50, and production is limited to 500 boxes of 10 cigars.
The other four cigars are part of the company’s Rosalones line. There are two different Rosalones blends, each with two vitolas. One is the Rosalones CT, made with an Ecuadorian Connecticut-seed wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos also grown in Nicaragua.

- Joya de Nicaragua Rosalones CT Robusto (5 x 50) — $6.99 (Box of 20, $139.80)
- Joya de Nicaragua Rosalones CT Toro (6 x 52) — $7.99 (Box of 20, $159.80)
In addition, Joya de Nicaragua is shipping the Rosalones Reserva, which incorporates a Nicaraguan habano criollo Colorado wrapper covering a Nicaraguan binder and filler.

- Joya de Nicaragua Rosalones Reserva Robusto (5 x 50) — $6.99 (Box of 20, $139.80)
- Joya de Nicaragua Rosalones Reserva Toro (6 x 50) — $7.99 (Box of 20, $159.80)
Both cigars are regular production lines made at the company’s Fábrica de Tabacos Joya de Nicaragua S.A. factory. While Joya de Nicaragua has previously attempted to introduce the Rosalones brand to the U.S., this is the first time it is being offered in two blends to American stores.
