Espinosa La Bomba Warhead TAA Exclusive Coming Next Month

Fans of Espinosa’s La Bomba Warhead line will soon have another cigar to add to their collections, as today, the company announced the upcoming release of the La Bomba Warhead TAA 2026 Exclusive.

It’s a 6 x 55 box-pressed toro that uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers. The company says that the blend delivers “a unique, flavorful take on the already successful Warhead blend.”

The cigars are made at the San Lotano factory in Ocotal, Nicaragua, with production limited to 1,250 boxes of 10 cigars, a total production of 12,500 cigars. Pricing is set at $16 per cigar and $160 per box.

Espinosa released the 601 La Bomba Warhead line in 2013, and it has since built a following around its bold blends and distinctive presentation. It’s an annual limited edition release for the company known for its strength, flavor complexity and collectible packaging, which is inspired by World War II bombs and other military themes.

The Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) is a membership group, around 80 retailers and approximately 40 manufacturers, that gathers annually to discuss issues facing the industry and retailers, as well as to have its annual trade show, a unique event that works on a group buying format in order to secure exclusive deals for these generally high-volume merchants.

During the annual event—the 2026 version takes place Oct. 25-29 at Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic—the organization holds two selling events, one known as the Dream Machine, where the retailers collectively order to secure larger discounts, while the other is a more traditional trade show. Typically, around a dozen manufacturers release new exclusive cigars for the retail members of the organization under the TAA Exclusive Series Program (ESP) banner. Those manufacturers agree to give a portion of the proceeds to the organization, a minimum of 50 cents per cigar.

“Warhead is very special to us,” said Erik Espinosa, owner of Espinosa Premium Cigars, in a press release. “It was our very first limited edition, and while it goes through a yearly iteration, it is always our most anticipated release. We wanted to provide the TAA retailers with something truly original and something that will be talked about for years to come.”

Espinosa, Kristoff, Gurkha and Villiger Cigars North America have announced the 2026 TAA ESP releases.
