Bocock Brothers Coach O Stadium Series

Bocock Brothers Premium Cigars has announced the Coach O Stadium Series. This limited-edition collector’s release for LSU is the latest installment in the company’s college sports series. The release bears the name and endorsement of former LSU Head Coach Ed “Coach O” Orgeron, who led the school to an NCAA Football Championship in 2019.

The hand-painted boxes open to reveal an original design inspired by a night under the lights at Tiger Stadium, known to LSU fans simply as Death Valley. Each box contains ten cigars rolled in the company’s signature Maduro blend: a Honduran wrapper over a Honduran binder, filled with a mix of Honduran, Nicaraguan, and Paraguayan long-leaf tobaccos. The company will offer a limited number of ten-count refill packs once the initial release sells out. The cigar is a 52 x 6 Toro, and each box contains a personal message from Coach O himself.

Douglas and Bryant Bocock are the founders of Bocock Brothers Premium Cigars. Over the years, the company has developed officially licensed collegiate offerings for various colleges, including some for LSU.

“Death Valley is not like anywhere else in college football. Ask anyone who has stood in that stadium on a Saturday night, you feel it before you hear it. I have never forgotten 2019. 15-0. A national championship built one game at a time in Baton Rouge, with Coach O leading that team every step of the way. That season is part of why this release means something different to us than anything we have made before,” said Douglas Bocock in a press release.

Bocock added, “This year opens a new chapter for LSU, and the expectations in Death Valley have never been higher. We built the Coach O Stadium Series to mark that, by hand, the same way this program was built. This one is personal, for the coach, for the stadium, and for every fan who has ever felt Death Valley shake under their feet.”

The Coach O Stadium Series costs $399 per box. At press time, the boxes are available for preorder at LSUCigars.com. The company scheduled delivery ahead of LSU’s home opener against Clemson on September 5. The release will also reach select retail partners beginning early September.
