Tradecraft Gladius Box Press

Tradecraft Cigars has announced it will be releasing the Gladius Box Press. It’s a 5 1/2 x 52 box-pressed offering in a unique Belicoso size.

According to Rob Blumenthal of Tradecraft Cigars, the Gladius Box-Press is finished with what he calls a 109xbelicoso cap. Blumenthal says the cap its more ovalized than a traditional bellicose and it will allow for better placement in the mouth. The cigars are priced at an SRP $12.65. It will be sold in ten-count packs (SRP $126.50). In addition there will be custom laser engraved wood cranes produced for retail display.

“I adore the Gladius blend, which I consider to be one of the finest maduro cigars on the market. In this 5.5×52 Box Press, the blend transforms into something truly special,” in a statement to Cigar Coop.

Gladius is one of the three core lines offered by Tradecraft. The line is produced out of Tabacalera William Ventura in the Dominican Republic and is highlighted by a San Andres wrapper.

The Gladius Box Press will debut at Wooden Indian and Tinderbox Haverford on August 22nd (as well as their respective web-sites). The Box Press rolls out to Tradecraft Retail Partners in late September, early October 2026.
