United Cigars Independence

United Cigars has announced the launch of the Independence line. This is an on-going permanent addition to United Cigars that is based on the limited edition Independence Firecracker blend, which was launched earlier this year. While the Firecracker size itself isn’t part of the regular production line, there will be a new Robusto (4 7/8 x 50) and a new Toro (5 7/8 x 50) size. Like the Independence Firecracker, the new Independence sizes are produced at the Arnold Andre factory in the Dominican Republic.

“Why mess with success?” said Oliver Nivaud of United Cigars in a press release. “The Independence Firecracker exceeded every expectation. Rather than retire a blend people fell in love with, we’re making Independence a permanent part of the Arnold André portfolio.”

Like the Independence Firecracker, the new sizes feature the same blend. This includes a Mexican Habano wrapper and Dominican binder over Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. Both sizes will also be available in a 12-count collectible tin similar to the Firecracker that also can be used as an ashtray.

While the new sizes are based on the Independence Firecracker blend, they do not feature the Firecracker’s fuse pig-tail.

Pricing comes in at SRP $10.50/cigar for the Robusto and SRP $11.00/cigar for the Toro.. The cigars ship to retailers beginning August 27, 2026.  At a glance, here is a look at the Independence line:
