Viso Horny Post Nut Clarity Coming Next Month

For months, Tyler Jeffrey of Viso Horny has been teasing a release called Post Nut Clarity.

It’s coming next month.

The Viso Horny Post Nut Clarity is 4 1/2 x 56 box-pressed parejo. Like some other Viso Horny releases, it’s made entirely of tobaccos from the viso priming. A typical tobacco plant is divided into three sections: the largest and mildest leaves are located in the lowest section, known as seco, while the strongest and smallest leaves are found at the top of the plant, known as ligero. In the middle are the visos.

Blend-wise, it uses a Pennsylvania broadleaf wrapper over a Cameroon binder and one filler from Honduras and three fillers from Nicaragua. Jeffrey told halfwheel that the blend is closer to the Uncle Luke than it is the Viso Horny 555.

“Tyler came to us with a cigar named after the most honest five minutes of a man’s day,” said Skip Martin, co-founder of RoMa Craft Tobac and Nica Sueño, in a press release. “Somehow, after building it all out of viso, it actually tastes like clarity.”

Production is limited to 750 bundles.
