Noel Rojas of Rojas Cigars has long proclaimed himself “king of the small ring gauge,” and this November, he will be releasing a new limited edition called the Rojas KSG Limited Edition 2026 to further cement his claim.
It’s a 6 1/2 x 42 lonsdale with a blend that uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler. It’s a new blend for the KSG series, using tobacco grown from a hybrid broadleaf seed developed by Rojas Cigars that the company says provides deeper sweet and creamy notes. Rojas doesn’t disclose just where in the blend that leaf shows up, but did note that it has been aged for seven years.
The cigars are made at Rojas Cigar Factory in Estelí and come offered in 12-count boxes featuring Rojas wearing a cape and crown. Pricing is set at $14 per cigar and $168 per box, with production limited to 1,700 boxes, a total of 20,400 cigars. They are expected to begin shipping to retailers during the first week of November.
This is not the first time that Rojas has released a cigar under the KSG name; the first came out in April 2024, a 7 1/2 x 38 lancero that used a Ecuadorian habano maduro wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler that included tobacco from the Somoto region. The second release came in 2022, with a 6 1/4 x 42 lonsdale created using the same blend.
