Quai d’Orsay Concordia Unveiled in Spain

This past Saturday, inside a famous bullfighting ring in Madrid, the new, and so far only, 2026 Edición Limitada release was shown off to a group of Spanish cigar enthusiasts.

The Quai d’Orsay Concordia is an Edición Limitada for 2026, the latest in the long-running Habanos S.A. Edición Limitada series.

As we already knew, the cigar is the same 5 7/10 (145mm) x 50 vitola as the Montecristo L’Esprit, a limited edition release that came in S.T. Dupont humidors.

Like many other new Cuban cigar releases of late, the cigar is being sold with three bands.

Given that it is an Edición Limitada, it means that the vitola is not part of the regular production Quai d’Orsay portfolio. In fact, it’s only the second time the Cuban cigar monopoly has released a cigar of this size and also only the second Quai d’Orsay Edición Limitada.

Beyond being limited editions, Edición Limitada cigars use tobacco only from the Vuelta Abajo region of Pinar del Rió, which is then aged for a minimum of two years.

The event was held at Las Ventas, hosted by Club Pasión Habanos. Attendees of the Belle Époque-inspired event were given the cigar to preview.

It’s unclear when the cigars will start going on sale. When Habanos S.A. holds formal launch events for new cigars, sometimes they arrive on shelves days later, other times it has taken many months.

A press release from Habanos S.A. has listed a recommended retail price of €914 per box of 20.

In a given year, there are typically three new Edición Limitada releases, though so far, only the Quai d’Orsay has been announced for 2026.
