Dominique London has announced that Mitchell Orchant has become a brand ambassador for the company. The move is effective September 1, 2026.
Mitchell is best known as the founder of C.Gars Ltd, a retail operation in the United Kingdom. In 2021, C. Gars Ltd. and La Casa del Tabaco Group merged to create Dominque London. Since then, Dominique London has expanded globally and operates 30 outlets across seven countries. Orchant has remained with Dominique London since the merger.
Dominique London says Orchant is no longer a shareholder or employee, but will support the company as an ambassador.
In a press release, Frédéric Dechamps, CEO of Dominique London, said: “Mitchell has been part of this business from the very first conversation about the merger. On behalf of the board, I want to thank him for everything he has given the group over the past five years. I am glad this is not a goodbye – as an Ambassador he will remain a familiar face across the trade.”
Dominique Gyselinck, Founder of Dominique London, added: “When our two companies came together in 2021, I found in Mitchell a partner who understood that this industry is built on relationships rather than transactions. He will forever be the Founder of C.Gars, and that legacy is now part of ours. He leaves with our gratitude and our friendship, and we very much look forward to his continued support for the group.”
Mitchell Orchant said: “It’s been a great honour steering the business from humble beginnings to the great heights we have now reached. I’m delighted to become an ambassador. All good wishes to Dominique, Frederic and the team for continued success.”
