La Casa Grande Cigars has announced it will release How You Doin! The blend brings together two lifelong friends from the Bronx: Paul DiSilvio (owner of La Casa Grande) and Giovanni Paolo (DiFuccia), an Italian Deli owner. The cigar will premiere at Eight Lounge at Resorts World Las Vegas on Wednesday, October 21, 2026.
DiSilvio and Giovanni Paolo are lifelong friends who grew up together in the Arthur Avenue section of the Bronx. They share a connection to the neighborhood and, of course, New York Italian-American culture.
The Las Vegas launch event will feature a live mozzarella-making demonstration, Italian-American food preparation, and a celebration of the friendship behind the project. As part of a special contest, the first-prize winner will be flown to Las Vegas to cut and light the very first cigar.
Crafted through La Casa Grande Cigars in the Bronx, the cigar blend for How You Doin! features a San Andres Maduro wrapper over Dominican tobaccos for the binder and filler. The filler features Criollo 98 and Corojo tobaccos. It will come in three sizes: How You Doin! (Toro, 6 x 57), Mozzarella (Robusto, 5 x 60), and Sangwheech (Torpedo, 6 x 60). The initial release will have 3,000 bundles and will be sold through LCGCigars.com.
Paying tribute to sandwich culture that inspired the collection, every cigar will be individually wrapped in sandwich-inspired tissue paper. Each bundle receives its own distinctive sandwich-paper wrapping. Giovanni Paolo will personally participate in wrapping the cigars, connecting the personality behind the collaboration.
