Drew Estate has begun notifying retailers about a new 6 x 60 Gordo size in the Undercrown 10 line. This size is a limited edition release, designed to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Undercrown brand, which debuted in 2021. The Undercrown 10 Gordo will feature the same blend as the original: a high-priming Mexican San Andrés wrapper, a Connecticut Broadleaf binder, and a mix of Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers. Production will take place at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate in Estelí, Nicaragua
“Bigger ain’t always better … but in this case, it sure is! The Undercrown 10 Gordo booms with flavor and really surprised me,” said Drew Estate Founder & President Jonathan Drew Sann from Wynwood, Florida, in a communication to retailers. “This is the perfect big-ring cigar for the guy who’s looking for something bold and rewarding.”
La Gran Fabrica spokesperson Pedro Gomez added: “Undercrown 10 is an incredible medium-to-full-bodied masterpiece at its core, and a blend we all celebrate every single day here at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate. With this massive new Gordo size, it becomes the ultimate smoke for any big celebration. ¡No Jodas! It’s a bigger bang for your buck, bringing out that fine, spicy Mexican hot chocolate profile like nothing else.”
The 6 x 60 Gordo will come in ten-count boxes and is priced at a suggested retail price of $16.80 per cigar. Retailers have been informed that these cigars are now available for ordering.
