Ceniza Fina’s CT Broadleaf Begins Shipping

Ceniza Fina Cigars has begun shipping its new CT Broadleaf line to retailers, bringing its portfolio to three lines as it joins the Corojo and Connecticut lines.

The blend features a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, a Mexican binder, and a filler that contains piloto cubano, criollo 98, HVA and tobacco from Nicaragua’s Jalapa region. The company calls the CT Broadleaf the brand’s richest, darkest cigar to date, and a notable contrast to the mellow Connecticut line it introduced last year. It added the profile is marked by cocoa, dark chocolate, sweet molasses, espresso, and black pepper undertones.

“We’ve spent years learning what our smokers reach for, and a lot of them kept asking us to go bolder,” said Sam and Rosie Lopez, owners of Ceniza Fina and Fine Ash Cigars, in a press release. “The CT Broadleaf is our answer, it’s the boldest we’ve put our name on. There’s now a Ceniza Fina for everyone’s taste.”

The line is produced at TABACALERA LA iSLA in Santiago, Dominican Republic, and offered in four box-pressed sizes:

  • Ceniza Fina CT Broadleaf BP Robusto (5 x 52) — $13.50 (Box of 20, $270)
  • Ceniza Fina CT Broadleaf BP Corona (5 1/2 x 48) — $13 (Box of 20, $260)
  • Ceniza Fina CT Broadleaf BP Robusto Gordo (5 1/2 x 56) — $15 (Box of 20, $300)
  • Ceniza Fina CT Broadleaf BP Toro (6 x 52) — $14 (Box of 20, $280)

Ceniza Fina Cigars is distributed by Pospiech Cigars.
