Casdagli Daughters of the Wind Rosado, Dominita Corojo 2012 Debuting at InterTabac 2026

During next week’s InterTabac 2026 trade show, Casdagli will be showcasing a new version of its Daughters of the Wind line as well as a second blend for its new Dominita line.

The Daughters of the Wind Rosado line will include five different vitolas at launch, but not all of the sizes share the same blend. All five sizes use a Costa Rican habano rosado wrapper over a Costa Rican binder. Additionally, all five use Costa Rican and Dominican tobacco in the filler. However, the Daughters of the Wind Rosado Lonsdale gets Peruvian tobacco in the filler, while the other four vitolas have Nicaraguan tobacco in the filler.

All of the cigars are being made at the IGM Cigars factory in Costa Rica. Boxes of all five Daughters of the Wind Rosado vitolas are scheduled to begin shipping to retailers in mid-September.

The original Daughters of the Wind line is made with an Ecuadorian habano wrapper, a Costa Rican binder and filler tobaccos grown in the Dominican Republic and Peru. In March, Casdagli teased the Daughters of the Wind Rosado line, but at the time, the line was made up of slightly different sizes, the blend included a Dominican binder.

“The Daughters of the Wind has always been a very special line for us, and the Rosado wrapper gave us the opportunity to explore a completely new expression of it,” said Jeremy Casdagli, founder of Casdagli, in a press release. “Its rarity, natural oils and distinctive character bring another dimension to the blend, while the Rosado name fits perfectly with the equestrian heritage behind the collection.”

In addition, Casdagli will be showing off the Dominita Corojo 2012 Petit Exquisito, a 4 x 35 parejo made with 100 percent corojo 2012 tobacco grown in the Navarrete region of the Dominican Republic. It is being made at the De Los Reyes factory in the Dominican Republic.

Casdagli had previously announced that the first release in the Dominita line, named Corojo Original, would ship to retailers in July. In an email, Jeremy Casdagli, founder of Casdagli, told halfwheel that both the Dominita Corojo Original and Corojo 2012 will ship to stores this month.

“This whole project is a celebration of not just Leo (Reyes) plantations in Navarette but also showcasing the different terroir types for tobacco that can be found in the Dominican Republic,” said Casdagli in an email.

He said future Dominita line extensions will center around a different tobacco grown by the Reyes family in the Dominican Republic.

The InterTabac trade fair takes place Sept. 15-17 in Dortmund, Germany.
