General Cigar Company has announced the return of the CAO Amazon Basin Daggers for 2026. Introduced in 2025, the Amazon Basin Dagger is a limited-edition that brings the brand’s popular Amazon Basin blend into a compact 4 x 38 format.
The blend uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper and a Nicaraguan binder. The fillers consist of Dominican, Colombian, and the signature low-yield Brazilian Bragança tobaccos found on the full-size Amazon Basin. Production comes out of STG Estelí in Estelí, Nicaragua.
“Amazon Basin fans are some of the most passionate in the cigar world, and we know how fast the larger sizes disappear,” said Cory Beardsley, brand manager for CAO, in a press release. “Daggers are back for the people who missed the original drop or for those who want the Bragança profile but don’t have an hour and a half to commit to a Toro. It’s the same blend and the same intensity, just built to fit a shorter smoking window.”
CAO Amazon Basin Daggers are packaged in five-count packs. They ship this month. SRP is $ 24.99/5-pack.
