Earlier this month, Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) began shipping a new vitola for its Bolivar Cofradia line.
The Bolivar Cofradia 770s are a pair of 7 x 70, offered in both the Bolivar Cofradia and Bolivar Cofradia Oscuro blends. The Bolivar Cofradia, pictured on top, uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed wrapper over a Connecticut-seed binder and fillers from Honduras and Nicaragua. The Oscuro uses a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper with an Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed binder and fillers from Honduras and Nicaragua. The cigars are made at STG Danlí in Honduras.
Regardless of wrapper, each cigar has an MSRP of $10.09 and comes in boxes of 20 cigars.
“Both Cofradia and Cofradia Oscuro have long been among the best buys in humidors,” said Joe Krzyston, brand manager of Bolivar, in a press release. “Now those same cigars are available in a bold new size. These 770s are for lovers of big ring gauges and uncompromising Bolivar blends.”
