Bocock Brothers Premium Cigars has announced its latest release for Texas Tech University, the Oil Field Reserve. This release is a part of the Collegiate Series. Bocock Brothers is an officially licensed partner to university athletic programs nationwide.
The Oil Field Reserve is named after the West Texas oil region surrounding Texas Tech University. A design featuring a field of pump jacks is printed on the interior lid of every box as well as on the band of each cigar, placed behind the state of Texas and the Double T logo. This pump jack pattern continues on the band of every cigar, positioned under the Double T along with the phrase “WRECK ‘EM.”
The Oil Field Reserve blend features a Honduran Maduro wrapper, with Honduran leaves used for both the binder and filler. The cigars are offered in a single size: 6 x 52 Toro. They come in 20-count boxes, each priced at $280.00. Each hand-painted box is also crafted as a collectible piece.

A Honduran Maduro over a Honduran binder with filler from Honduras, Nicaragua, and Paraguay. Rich, oily, and uncompromising. That is what West Texas and Red Raider football deserve,” said Matt Olivier of Bocock Brothers Premium Cigars in a press release.
At press time, the cigars are available for pre-order.
