Bandolero Firecracker 2026 Shipping

The third version of the Bandolero Firecracker is off to stores.

Like past versions, the Bandolero Firecracker 2026 is a 3 1/2 x 50 short robusto with a long pigtail that is tucked inside the band, made to mimic the fuse of a firecracker. The cigar is the same as the 2022 and 2023 versions. Each cigar is covered with the Bandolero Aventureros’s wrapper and binder, an Ecuadorian habano maduro leaf filler and an Ecuadorian binder. The filler comes from the Bandolero Clandestino, or Serie C, line.

According to the company, after being rolled at the Tabacos de Costa Rica factory, the cigars were aged for two years in rooms lined with different types of cedar.

Each cigar has an MSRP of $10, up from the $9 pricepoint from the two previous releases.

“United Firecrackers are about our nation’s tradition reimagined in tobacco,” said Oliver Nivaud, director of operations for United Cigars, in a press release. “The Bandolero Firecracker 2026 is the culmination of two years of patient post- roll aging, and it delivers everything you could expect from a legend like Nelson Alfonso.”

The original release finished #20 on halfwheel‘s Top 25 of 2022.

The Firecracker series dates back to 2007 and Two Guys Cigars, a New Hampshire-based chain of retailers owned by Dave Garofalo, who also owns United Cigars. The Firecracker cigars are typically a 3 1/2 x 50 petite robusto that features a long, fuse-like pigtail. Over the years, numerous manufacturers have made Firecracker Series releases, including AGANORSA Leaf, All Saints, Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust, El Artista, Fratello, Kristoff, La Flor Dominicana, My Father, Perdomo, RoMa Craft Tobac, Rojas Cigars, Selected Tobacco and Tatuaje. While early releases were exclusive to Two Guys, the series is now distributed nationwide by United Cigars.
