Avowed Cigars has announced a new three-count limited edition sampler known as Awakening Rhapsody. The sampler features The Awakening, a limited-edition cigar, and two new iterations based on this blend. The Awakening Rhapsody is positioned as a Father’s Day release.
The Awakening uses an Ecuadorian Hybrid wrapper (which growers no longer cultivate), an Ecuadorian Habano binder, and a filler blend of Piloto Cubano, San Vicente, Criollo 98, and Pennsylvania tobaccos.
In addition to The Awakening, the sampler includes the Awakening White and the Awakening Black. Awakening White uses the same vintage 2016 Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper found on the Avowed New Dawn. Meanwhile, the Awakening Black features a 2021-vintage Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper, as found on Avowed Hallowed Hands. The White and Black use the same binder and filler leaves as the original Awakening blend. Production of all cigars comes from Kelner Cigars SAS in the Dominican Republic.
“Since we’re unable to commemorate Father’s Day with everyone in person, we wanted Awakening Rhapsody to be a nationwide celebration. From now until June 16th, we’re gifting Awakening Rhapsody samplers to our Retail Partners with every purchase to add to their festivities and create an exclusive Father’s Day event within their treasured communities,” commented brand co-owner Andrew Considine in a press release.
“A rhapsody stitches together multiple themes and concepts in a bold, new experience to create an epic story that is greater than the sum of its parts. Awakening Rhapsody was a fun time capsule for us, intentionally planted in the past to remind us to live in the moment on a future date. And that date is set for Father’s Day, June 21st, 2026,” added co-owner Dave West.
The Awakening Rhapsody begins shipping. Pricing comes in at an SRP of $90.00 per sampler.
