After a soft launch in March, Arturo Fuente is preparing for the nationwide release of its elusive Black Pink line.
Next week, the company will begin shipping the line to stores across the country. Arturo Fuente Rare Pink Vintage 1960’s Black Pink—the line’s full name—is part of the company’s Hemingway brand, though it’s an offshoot of Rare Pink, itself a sub-brand of Hemingway. Like other Hemingway cigars, it’s offered only in perfecto vitolas.
Blend-wise, it uses a habano-seed wrapper from Connecticut over a blend of Dominican tobaccos.
In March, Arturo Fuente shipped a small allotment to retailers that are members of the Tobacconists’ Association of America as part of a soft launch for the line. At the time, the company said it would wait at least six months before the full release.
The pricing has not changed from the March shipment.
