Artesano Del Tobacco has announced a price increase of $5.00 per box for the Viva La Vida Classic and El Pulpo Octo Ocho (Culebra) lines. This change is effective immediately in the United States market only. The company has stated that it has been absorbing increased costs due to recently imposed tariffs.
Artesano Del Tobacco has said there will be no increases on the following lines:
- El Pulpo (excluding El Pulpo Culebra, which is affected by the price change)
- Viva La Vida Connecticut
- Viva La Vida 5th Anniversary
“Since the launch of Viva La Vida in 2019, this represents only the 2nd price increase in seven years. We have made every effort to maintain our pricing while absorbing increased costs and continuing to provide the quality and value our customers expect,” commented the company in a press release. “Our goal has always been to protect our retailers, distributors, and loyal consumers while continuing to deliver the handcrafted quality and consistency that define every Artesano Del Tobacco cigar.”
