A Rum Finished the Cognac Way, Made for Cigar

Cigar News – September 19, 2026

A rum-based spirit made for cigars was presented at the Cigar Culture Summit on 14 September, limited to 200 bottles.

Felix Gorczak at InterTabac 2026.

It is the work of Felix Gorczak, who took rum as the base and cognac as the second influence. The finish comes from a bonificateur — the practice, borrowed from cognac, of steeping ingredients into a preparation used to round off a spirit before bottling. Here it carries coffee, cacao and baking spices.

The label artwork is by Robert Glick of Art de Fumar. The bottling was produced in collaboration with the Cigar Culture Summit and InterTabac.

Done, and thank you.
