Black Works Studio Killer Bee Buzz Saw 2.0 Lands at Smoke Inn

The Black Works Studio Killer Bee Buzz Saw 2.0, a new edition of Smoke Inn’s exclusive collaboration with Black Works Studio, part of Black Label Trading Co., is now on sale.

It’s a 5 1/4 x 54 ring gauge box-pressed belicoso, a slightly longer and narrower experience than the original, while moving from a rounded perfecto shape to a box-pressed belicoso. The blend remains the same, using two wrappers, an Ecuadorian maduro and a Connecticut to create a unique design, while underneath those leaves are a Nicaraguan binder and filler. It’s described as a medium-full strength profile that is  earthy and peppery with accents of nutmeg and cocoa.

The cigars are priced at $12 each and are presented in 10-count boxes. They are produced at Fábrica Oveja Negra in Estelí, Nicaragua, with production numbers not yet disclosed.

The Killer Bee Buzz Saw traces its roots back to 2021 and the Black Works Studio The Hive Sampler, which featured a number of special sizes and formats from the brand’s Killer Bee and Green Hornet lines. On Sept. 23, 2024, the Buzz Saw became a standalone exclusive for Smoke Inn, the first exclusive for the retailer from Oveja Negra Brands. That original cigar was released in a 5 x 56 perfecto shape.
