Altadis U.S.A. and Christian Eiroa are teaming up for another Saint Luis Rey with the Saint Luis Rey Eiroa 30th Anniversary Maduro. It marks the second cigar the two have made together, commemorating 30 years of Saint Luis Rey in Honduras.

For Christian Eiroa, it feels like a homecoming. Eiroa developed the original Saint Luis Rey brand back in 1996. Earlier this year, Altadis (owner of the new-world Saint Luis Rey) and Eiroa came together for the first Saint Luis Rey Eiroa 30th Anniversary.

Produced in Honduras, the Saint Luis Rey Eiroa 30th Anniversary Maduro features an Ecuadorian Habano Maduro wrapper over a Honduran Corojo binder. The fillers include Colombian Pinareño and Honduran Corojo. Piñareno and Corojo are Eiroa’s signature tobaccos. The cigars come in four sizes in 25-count wooden cabinet boxes. Pricing ranges from $12.00 to $13.50 per cigar.

“The Saint Luis Rey Eiroa 30th Anniversary Maduro represents the continuation of a chapter we began in 1996 but never had the opportunity to bring to market,” said Christian Eiroa in a press release. “As we continue to celebrate this milestone anniversary, we’re proud to be able to build on the legacy of the original collaboration. With the Maduro, we wanted to preserve the distinctive foundation of the original blend while delivering a richer, more intense expression that remains true to the character of Saint Luis Rey. It’s a natural evolution of the story we started together.”

“The response to the original Saint Luis Rey Eiroa 30th Anniversary release confirmed that there is a real appreciation for the history and authenticity of this collaboration,” added Marina Tuntes, Brand Manager at Altadis U.S.A. “Introducing a Maduro was a natural next step. It allows us to build on that momentum, offer consumers a new smoking experience and continue supporting our brick-and-mortar retail partners with a compelling addition to the Saint Luis Rey portfolio.”

Altadis U.S.A. expects shipments to begin before the 2027 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show in March 2026. It will only be offered to brick-and-mortar retailers nationwide.
