Drew Estate Adds Eight New Feral Flying Pigs, Undercrown El Tigre Flying Pig

Thanks to the release of two new items from Drew Estate, there are nearly 10 new Flying Pig-style cigars arriving on shelves. One box is a new sampler of 10 different Feral Flying Pigs, while the other appears to be the first release of a box-pressed Flying Pig.

Most of the new cigars are found in the Feral Flying Pig Collection, a sampler that contains 10 different cigars in the 5 3/8 x 60 Feral Flying Pig vitola. Only two of the cigars have been offered for sale before: the original Liga Privada Único Serie Feral Flying Pig and the Liga Privada H99 Feral Flying Pig.

Each box includes:

• Herrera Estelí Brazil Feral Flying Pig (5 3/8 x 60)
• Herrera Estelí Habano Feral Flying Pig (5 3/8 x 60)
• Nica Rustica Shade Feral Flying Pig (5 3/8 x 60)
• Nica Rustica Adobe Feral Flying Pig (5 3/8 x 60)
• Liga Privada Único Serie Feral Flying Pig (5 3/8 x 60)
• Liga Privada T52 Feral Flying Pig (5 3/8 x 60)
• Liga Privada H99 Connecticut Corojo Feral Flying Pig (5 3/8 x 60)
• Undercrown Shade Feral Flying Pig (5 3/8 x 60)
• Undercrown El Tigre Dominicano Feral Flying Pig (5 3/8 x 60)
• Undercrown 10 Feral Flying Pig (5 3/8 x 60)

Each sampler has an MSRP of $170. Currently, the Feral Flying Pig Collection is awaiting approval for approval sale in California.

Two of these blends—Herrera Estelí Brazil and Liga Privada H99—are also offered in box-pressed Feral Flying Pigs via a separate three-count sampler that was introduced last month.

In a separate box is the new Undercrown El Tigre Dominicano Flying Pig, which uses the shorter 3 15/16 x 60 Flying Pig vitola, though it is box-pressed, seemingly the first time a box-pressed Flying Pig has been offered for sale.

The Undercrown El Tigre Dominicano line was introduced earlier this year. It uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed wrapper over a Connecticut corojo H99 hybrid binder and Dominican criollo 98 and HVA fillers. While the line is currently made in Nicaragua, Drew Estate has said that it plans to move production to its upcoming Dominican factory, which it expects to open next year.

As with the Feral Flying Pig Collection, the El Tigre Dominicano Flying Pig is awaiting approval to be sold in California.

Both items are considered to be limited, though Drew Estate has not specified how limited either is.
