Patina y Viso ReVerdigris Heading to Stores

On Monday, Oct. 26, the Patina y Viso Verdigris will return to shelves. However, this time it’s known as ReVerdigris.

Earlier this year, Patina Cigars and Viso Horny released the Verdigris as a limited edition. ReVerdigris is the exact same cigar, just from a different production run, though the cigars have been aged for nine months, and with slightly different branding. That means it’s a 5 x 52 robusto that uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper, made at Nicaragua American Cigars S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua.

In addition, the MSRP remains $13 per cigar. The one other change is that the production run is just 200 bundles compared to 300 for Verdigris.

Verdigris is the green chemical compound that can appear on copper or brass.

The branding for the release paid tribute to the founder of each company’s midwestern roots. Mo Maali of Patina Cigars is from Chicago, while Tyler Jeffery of Viso Horny is from Milwaukee. The artwork on the bundle features drawings of the Chicago skyline and the Milwaukee Art Museum.

“Nobody sent us a petition,” said Jeffery in a press release. “But apparently 2026 is the year everybody goes back for round two. Mann’s going back to Heat, Sorkin’s going back to Facebook, we’re going back to Verdigris. Eventually you have to just make the thing.”
