Warped Releases Isla del Cocodrilo Robusto

Warped Cigars has released the fifth vitola in its Isla del Cocodrilo line.

The Isla del Cocodrilo Robusto is a 5 x 50 robusto made with an Ecuadorian habano desflorada wrapper, dual Brazilian Arapiraca and Ecuadorian habano 2000 binders, and fillers from Nicaragua. The blend is produced at TABACALERA LA iSLA in Santiago, Dominican Republic.

“When we embarked on the journey of sourcing tobacco for this project, we sought something truly extraordinary for the wrapper, and we have achieved just that with the Habano Desflorada,” said  Kyle Gellis, founder of Warped Cigars on the DROP website. “It adds a layer of complexity and richness to Isla del Cocodrilo, elevating the blends experience to a new flavor spectrum from Warped.” Gellis is also the founder of DROP, an online retailer.

Each cigar is listed with a price of $16, and it is packaged in 15-count boxes. The Isla del Cocodrilo line gets its name from a term used to reference the shape of Cuba, and it debuted with two vitolas during the 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show.

This is the fifth vitola in Warped’s Isla del Cocodrilo line:

The Isla del Cocodrilo Toro Grande was released to non-U.S. markets in September 2025 and in the U.S. in June, but the blend of that vitola was modified to include some Peruvian pelo de oro in the filler to contribute sweetness to the profile. Earlier this year, Warped released a modified version of the blend named Isla del Cocodrilo Blanco in a 6 1/2 x 55 perfecto vitola that is made with an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, dual Brazilian Arapiraca and Ecuadorian habano 2000 binders, and fillers from Nicaragua.
