Menendez Amerino at InterTabac 2026.

Menendez Amerino is one of the most traditional cigar factories in Brazil. Founded in 1977 by the Menedez family from Cuba and the Amerino family from Brazil, the Menendez Amerino became the biggest manufacture in the country.

The company two brands, Alonso Menendez (pays tribute to the patriarch of the Menendez family, creator of the Montecristo brand in Cuba) and Dona Flor (named after the book of one of the greatest Brazilian writers, Jorge Amado) collect excellent ratings and reviews by the specialized media.

Menendez Amerino is already present in Germany and Switzerland and is planning to expand the presence in Europe in 2027. “That’s our first year with an independent booth at Intertabac and it is very important to have a close contact with our current distributors and new ones willing to work with us for the following year” says Carla Almeida, Internacional Trade of Menendez Amerino.
