VILLIGER de Nicaragua Edición Limitada 2026

The VILLIGER de Nicaragua Edición Limitada is being released for the last time this year. A small era that began in 2022 is coming to an end.

The story of this cigar began with the opening of VILLIGER’s own factory, VILLIGER de Nicaragua. At InterTabac 2022, VILLIGER presented its first limited edition series from its own factory in Estelí. The focus was not only on the blend but on the entire country of Nicaragua. Each year’s changing format was paired with a scenic theme—a tribute to the country, tobacco cultivation, and its people.

This year, the Gordo format (6 x 60) provides a special finale. 650 boxes will be available in Germany. An additional 300 boxes are reserved for Switzerland. The wrapper is an Ecuador Desflorado. The binder consists of tobacco from Mexico. The filler features tobaccos from Condega and Jalapa—with one exception: Pennsylvania tobacco.

Visually, this year’s design for the high-gloss lacquered box is inspired by the beaches of Nicaragua. Palm trees, flowers, and a boat create an atmospheric overall image.
