Les Fines Lames—the French company known for its cigar knives—has announced that it is expanding four of its existing products by adding new material options and, in the case of one, a carrying case.
Les Fines Lames’ Punch Bracelet, which turns a cigar punch into a wearable bracelet, is getting a rubber strap option.
Like the existing versions, the cutter is a 7mm punch cutter made of 316L stainless steel. However, instead of a bead bracelet and an adjustable cord that are on the Punch Bracelets, the new version is made with a rubber strap and a clasp that is adjustable from 14 to 24cm (5 1/2 inches to 9 1/2 inches).
“The material and system used are already known by aficionados thanks to the smartwatches,” said Xavier Ynna, head of design at Les Fines Lames, in a press release. “With this new strap and clasp, the Punch Bracelet wins in stability and adjustability, with a more discreet look.”
Each Punch Bracelet Rubber has an MSRP of $79, and it is available in three color options: Black, Coyote and OD Green.
In addition, Les Fines Lames is releasing Vanguard, new versions of its La Guillotine cutter named. Like the original La Guillotine Rotor, the Vanguard is a double-guillotine cigar cutter with stainless steel blades. Like the La Guillotine Rotor, which was introduced earlier this year, it can cut cigars up to 80-ring gauge. However, the Vanguard’s body features a rectangular shape with square finger openings, while the blades are in the shape of a hexagon. The Rotor version uses circles for a lot of its shapes.
There are two versions of the Vanguard available: gold with tortoiseshell acetate and chrome with cognac leather. Each Vanguard has the same $120 MSRP—an increase of $41 compared to the MSRP of the Rotor—and the price of each cutter includes a black leather sheath.
Entirely new is the Le Tag Card Holder, a card case that is designed to also hold Les Fines Lames Le Tag T135. According to the company, the cutter slides under a leather strap built into the back of the case, while the cards are added to the case via an opening on the side.
Each Le Tag Card Holder is made of black leather and has an MSRP of $120.
Finally, Les Fines Lames has announced new versions of its DYAD and MONAD ashtrays.
While the original versions were made out of mortar, these new models are cut from a solid block of marble. Both the single-cigar MONAD ashtray and the two-cigar DYAD ashtrays are available in either Carrara marble from Italy or Verde India marble from Rajasthan, meaning each ashtray will have unique veining.
Regardless of marble choice, each DYAD ashtray has an MSRP of $499 and the MONAD ashtray is priced at $449.
Les Fines Lames has not announced whether the products are on sale.
