Casdagli Adding Custodian & Flamboyant to Brothers of the Sabre Series at InterTabac 2026

Next week, Casdagli Cigars will showcase the newest additions to its Napoleon-inspired Brothers of the Sabre Series at the InterTabac 2026 trade fair in Dortmund, Germany.

Custodian was created to commemorate British officer Lieutenant-General Sir Hudson Lowe, who served alongside Czar Alexander I and was appointed Governor of Saint Helena, where Napoleon was exiled during the final years of his life.

The second cigar is Flamboyant, which honors Joachim Murat, one of Napoleon’s most celebrated cavalry commanders, who was also crowned the King of Naples.

Both blends will be available in the same two vitolas: a 6 x 49 pirámide and a 6 x 52 toro. The cigars are being produced at the Kelner Boutique Factory located in the Dominican Republic and will begin shipping to retailers worldwide in mid-September.

The two cigars are part of the Brothers of the Sabre Series, formerly named The Napoleonic Collection, which debuted in 2023. Casdagli said the series would honor generals from the Napoleonic era and that it would eventually release eight different blends over the span of four years.

Casdagli plans on releasing the final two blends in the Brothers of the Sabre Series in 2028.

“What continues to fascinate me about this project is that every general gives us a completely different story to tell. Murat and Lowe could hardly have been more different in character, yet both have remarkable connections to the Napoleonic era and to tobacco,” said Jeremy Casdagli, founder of Casdagli, in a press release. “Translating those personalities into the Flamboyant and Custodian cigars is exactly what the Brothers of the Sabre line is about.”

The InterTabac trade fair takes place Sept. 15-17 in Dortmund, Germany.
