Indian Motorcycle 125th Anniversary Cigar Launch

Indian Motorcycle Cigars has announced it is getting ready to launch its Indian Motorcycle 125th Anniversary Limited Edition cigar. The cigar will launch at Rhino’s Cigar Lounge by Owl Shop in Windham, New Hampshire. It will then launch nationwide in October.

Indian Motorcycle was founded in 1901 by George M. Hendee and Oscar Hedstrom in Springfield, Massachusetts. After the original Indian Motorcycle Manufacturing Company went bankrupt, several companies tried to revive the brand, including an effort by Phil Zanghi II. In 2011, Polaris Industries acquired the company and has since focused on creating motorcycles that reflect the early Americana theme, particularly those made between 1901 and 1953. In 2015, Zanghi’s son, Phil Zanghi III, acquired the rights to produce Indian Motorcycle Ultra Premium Cigars, honoring his family’s involvement in the brand.

With the Indian Motorcycle 125th Anniversary, Zanghi III honors the motorbike company’s milestone anniversary. It’s a limited release of 500 20-count boxes. The blend was produced six years ago and has been aging since. It consists of a Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper, Dominican San Vicente binder, and a “unique blend” of Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. The cigar comes in one size -a. 6 x 52 Toro. Production comes from the De Los Reyes factory in the Dominican Republic.

Zanghi III said this is a one-time release. “There is only one 125th anniversary, and Indian is exactly half the age of the USA”.

Pricing is SRP $20.00/cigar. Rhino’s Cigar Lounge by Owl Shop will be taking pre-orders leading up to the launch. In October, the 125th Anniversary release will see a nationwide distribution. The retailer may be contacted for pre-orders here.

Cigar Coop does not sell tobacco products, and thus all inquiries must be made through retailer.
