Procigar has begun registration for its 2027 annual festival, scheduled to take place in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, from February 16 to 19, 2027. In another development, this year’s festival will proceed without Davidoff. A representative from Procigar confirmed that Davidoff and its factory, TABADOM Holdings, have left the organization and will not participate in the event.
Procigar is an organization of cigar manufacturers based in the Dominican Republic. Each year, they put on an annual festival that combines farm and factory tours, seminars, and gala evening events. It is for end-consumers and is usually held in February. It is one of three major festivals in the cigar industry, the others being Festival del Habano (Cuba) and Puro Sabor (Nicaragua).
The festival combines factory tours and seminars during the day with evening galas at night. The traditional gala dinners at Parque de Central, Monumento a los Héroes de la Restauración (White Dinner), and Centro Español (Auction Gala) remain in place.

What’s New?
Procigar has added two new activities to its agenda. The first is the Procigar Hopping Tour, a series of short visits to Procigar’s strategic partners that offers insight into the Dominican cigar industry. The second activity is the Procigar Discovery Tour, described as “an immersive journey that invites guests to explore the Dominican tobacco industry from Procigar’s unique perspective.”
There is also a Procigar Power Talk (which last year featured Litto Gomez and Carlito Fuente), a Procigar Women’s Talk, and a Beach Day.
