If you’re looking for some new cigar accessories, Quality Importers Trading Co. has some good news for you, as the company is reducing the price on 40 XIKAR products.
“Over the last several years, many factors within the global supply chain coupled with layers of tariffs forced costs up, which ultimately put pressure on wholesale and retail prices,” said Marilyn Florez-Giordano, president and coo of Quality Importers, via a press release. “We are passionate about our business and the people we serve, so our challenge was to find new ways to keep the line affordable and profitable.”
To address that challenge, Florez-Giordano said that the company sought to create new efficiencies and cost savings throughout the entire supply chain, including demand planning, sourcing, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution. She addd thatthe return to stable and lower global shipping rates and the recent tariff reductions have also helped.
“Today, we are thrilled to be in a position to pass on the benefits of our team’s work to the devoted fans of XIKAR® cigar accessories and our international network of retailers and distributors,” Florez-Giordano added.
The price reductions range from 3 percent to 28 percent, with the company saying the average decrease is 17 percent. It includes cutters and lighters, all of the company’s travel cases, and 16 humidification-related products.
Among the notable items seeing their MSRPs change:
- XIKAR MTX Cigar Scissors: was $71.99, now $59.99
- XIKAR Xi1 Cutter: ws $79.99-$84.99, now $59.99-$64.99
- XIKAR Hedron Lighter: was $164.99, now $129.99
- XIKAR Trezo Lighter: was $109.99, now $99.99
- XIKAR 5-Count Travel Case: was $44.99, now $34.99
One notable and widely used item not on the list is XIKAR’s butane, available in the original formula and a high-performance version designed for stronger flames and for use in places where lighter ignition is more challenging, such as at high elevations.
